Honouring Carl Benjamin (Ben) Eielson (1897-1929), aviator, bush pilot and explorer. He died in Siberia on 9 November 1929 while attempting to evacuate furs and personnel from the Nanuk, a cargo vessel trapped in the ice. Here his body is being returned by train to his home town of Hatton, North Dakota, USA, on 27 March 1930. Showing crowds of people at Devils Lake railway station.
