Dorothy Olivia Georgiana Peto (1886-1974) was first Woman Superintendent in the London Metropolitan Police. She served from 1930 until 1946, receiving the OBE in 1920 and the King's Police Medal in 1944. Others present include air raid wardens wearing shiny metal helmets.
