Day & Sons, Crewe, Patent Drenching Bottle; flat bottle wiith brass feeding instructions and bottle neck. Thomas Day began manufacturing medicines for animals in 1834. In the same year he launched the first known equine tonic "Black Drink" at a price of 10 shillings for half a dozen bottles. This bottle is from later once the company was renamed Day & Sons Crewe Limited.
