Gramophone record postcard made by Raphael Tuck of London. The basic idea of a gramophone postcard was to glue a single sided miniature disc record onto a postcard and punch a hole through both card and disc. Various tunes, instrumental solos or vocal pieces were on the disc which would play on a gramophone for about a minute on each side. The images on the postcard often did not correspond to the the music on the record which suggests that the postcards may have been old stock. They were sold at one shilling for a set of four records.
