Claudian by Henry Herman (1832 - 1894) and W.G. (William Gorman) Wills (28 January 1828 ? 13 December 1891). First produced at the Princess?s Theatre in London on 6th December 1883. William Maclaren is shown in the title role. Originally starring Wilson Barrett, this Victorian melodrama included an earthquake scene. Touring to the Theatre Royal in Bolton on 22nd October 1906.
