Magic Lantern slide circa 1900 hand coloured. created in 1887. A tour of North Wales. 6.Llanrwst Bridge is an object of some interest, having been built by Inigo Jones in 1636. Although very broad and massive, and securely founded on visible rocks, yet a sudden pressure on one of its parapets causes a perceptible vibration in the whole structure. A man is generally at hand to prove this fact, by bumping his back against the wall- Llanrwst, formerly celebrated for the manufacture of Welsh harps, is now of little im??portance except as an eligible station for anglers, the whole surrounding country abounding with lakes and streams. The scenery all round is also very beautiful. A few minutes ride by rail brings us to Bettws-y-Coed.
