Bomb damage to Ford's Hospital, Greyfriars Lane, Coventry, 1941. On the night of 14 October 1940, the 16th century building received a direct hit from a German bomb, leaving the warden, a nurse and six elderly residents dead. The site was rebuilt in 1951-1953.
