Soft coral and fan coral. Alcyonacea, or soft corals, are an order of corals which do not produce calcium carbonate skeletons. They are soft and bendable and often resemble plants or trees. Fan corals are a subset of the soft corals. Photographed off the coast of Rajah Ampat, Indonesia.
