Opened September 20 2015. Renamed Binhai January 5 2019.Station ceiling - world's first single layer steel shell structure. Roofing and facade uses ETFE (ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene) - showing both impressive strength and energy saving.Visible structure of station is of a tear-drop shaped dome surrounded by parkland.
