Storms on Jupiter, JunoCam image. This storm is part of Jupiter's South Equatorial Belt, not to be confused with the planet's Great Red Spot. NASA's Juno spacecraft arrived at Jupiter in July 2016. It has been orbiting Jupiter, gathering information about the planet's atmosphere, magnetic field and gravitational field. The image data from its JunoCam are made available for processing by citizen scientists. This image was obtained on 15 July 2018, during perijove 14, and processed by Bjorn Jonsson.
