Nagyagite is a rare sulfide mineral closely associated with gold ores and with gold in its chemical composition. It occurs in hydrothermal gold and tellurium bearing deposits. Nagyagite crystals are opaque and dark grey to black coloured, here embedded in a quarzitic host rock. Crystal system is monoclinic. Provenance of this specimen is the type locality Nagyag, in Romania.
