Light micrograph of plasma cells located in the medulla of a lymph node. The cytoplasm of these cells shows a lighter zone referred to as 'negative image' of the Golgi apparatus. In some cells, mostly at top centre, rough endoplasmic reticulum (RER) cisterns can be seen. 0.5 micrometre thick section of liver embedded in a synthetic resin.
