Bartolomeo will be delivered to the International Space Station (ISS) aboard SpaceX's 20th Commercial Resupply Services (CRS-20) mission. The platform will attach to the exterior of the ISS's European Columbus Module. Named for the younger brother of Christopher Columbus, the platform has the capability to host external payloads in low-Earth orbit. CRS-20 launched aboard SpaceX's Dragon cargo spacecraft atop the company's Falcon 9 rocket on 7th March 2020.
