Arecibo Observatory, Puerto Rico, satellite image. The observatory was home to the world's largest radio telescope and is known for its use in the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI). On 1st December 2020, the 900,000 kilogram platform of the telescope collapsed into the 305 metre-wide dish. Image obtained by a Pleiades satellite on 14th August 2020.
