Arthropods of Medical Interest collection. The 'Arthropodes d'interet medical' (AIM) collection is held at the IRD (Institut de Recherche pour le Developpement) in Montpellier, France. It contains more than 3000 species of disease vectors, pests and parasites (such as mosquitoes, sandflies, black flies, tsetse flies, midges, lice, fleas, ticks, bugs and mites). There are 400,000 specimens in this collection. Photographed in 2019.
