Dried out Martian river valleys, Mars Express image. This area is in the southern highlands of Mars, east of the Huygens impact crater and north of the Hellas impact basin. The terrain seen here is evidence that water once flowed on Mars. Data obtained by the High-Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) on Mars Express, on 19 November 2018, during orbit 18831. The European Space Agency's Mars Express has been orbiting Mars since December 2003.
