Philip, Prince of Eulenburg, was a German politician and diplomat. He became embroiled in a scandal involving alleged homosexual relations with members of the Kaiser\'s inner circle, which culminated in him being put on trial for perjury in 1908. On 13 July, Eulenburg collapsed in court and the judge rued that the trial was over due to him being medically unfit to continue.
