I have taken photographs of it many times from 1897, when New Bond Street wore a very different aspect. Most of recent film attempts have proved dull and uninteresting. The day this was taken was dull, as I stood looking at the window, the sun shone out long enough to secure this gleam of sunshine on the old panes.
