The rectangular portor marble top above a cental door inlaid with floral arabesques en contre-partie with a central ormolu portrait medallion of Henri IV, enclosing a plain interior, flanked by foliate guilloche-inlaid pilasters and further doors with female masks, with lambrequined head-dress and tied hair, the sides panelled and inlaid with pewter lines, above a breakfront plinth and on rosette and gadroon-headed square tapering legs and tapering feet with pounced panels, the two-throw locks to the side doors probably English and late 18th century, the marble with restored break to corner, the backboard probably replaced); Photo by Christie\'s Images.
