Frontal magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA) scan of a healthy heart and blood vessels. The heart is at centre with the aortic arch looping over the top of it. From the aortic arch the right and left subclavian arteries serve the arms and the right and left common carotid arteries serve the neck. The kidneys are at bottom centre. MRA is a type of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technique that highlights blood vessels without the need for X-rays or the injection of a radio-opaque dye.
