When Brother Kills Brother -- Charred and still smoking wreckage is all that remains of this corner of the Japanese section, after incendiaries and high explosive bombs fell during first Jap attack, December 7. Almost 20 buildings were destroyed in this once-thriving retail business district (corners of King and McCully Sts.). Many Alien Nipponese and many Americans of Jap ancestry, died here. December 16, 1941. (Photo by Alan Campbell, ACME).
