Students Bury Liberals -- When students are in gay mood all life is a joke and even politics and politicians are subjects for their fun. Students of London's Royal Dental Hospital kept up their tradition for jollity in a funereal way by staging a mock funeral for the Liberal Party which, in spite of putting up 475 candidates in the recent election, have only won nine seats in Parliament. Here the students are in procession to Westminster carrying banners "Not Right, Not Left But Straight Down" as they parade with the Liberal coffin. Another banner read "Labour's Love Lost".
