London Borough Stages Mobile Anti-Diptheria Drive -- The doctor giving immunization in the van, whilst the nurse holds the baby. To ensure an all-embracing coverage in their diptheria immunization campaign, the Health Dept, of Lewisham Borough Council are sending on tour a mobile van with a crew of four- doctor, nurse, cleric and driver. In one four-week itinerary a figure of between 800/1000 immunizations is attained. Calling anywhere on request, the van covers 60 miles per day. This service is much appreciated by busy housewives.
