Three ferocious babies arrived in Brisbane this week fresh from the Daintree River area in North Queensland. They are diminutive baby crocodiles caught by two aquarists, Mr. F.L. Boyes, of Torwood, and Mr. K. Williams of Ipswich, who have just completed a five-weeks 4,000-mile collecting trip through North Queensland. Today in their concrete tub at Mr. Boyes's aquarium the savage trio ***** and hissed if anyone went near them. Mr. Boyes said they had gathered about 2,000 specimens, including some rare fish. Mr. Boyes and Mr. Williams arrived back with bagsful of snakes caught near Townsville. September 26, 1955. (Photo by The Telegraph Feature Service Brisbane).
