Yard Bring Man From Bournemouth -- The police car with the detained man (hand to face, in centre) arriving at Notting Hill Police Station, London, from Bournemouth today (Sunday). A man who was detained by Bournemouth Police last night left Bournemouth shortly after eight this morning in a car with two Scotland Yard detectives for London. He was stated to resemble Neville Heath whom the police believe may be able to help them in their enquiries into the death of Margery Gardner in a Notting Hill hotel on June 22nd. The two detective who accompanied the man were Div. Det. Inspector Spooner, and Det. Inspector Symes, who had gone to Bournemouth in the early hours of today (Sunday) to question the man. Enquiries had been pursued by the Police at hotels and boarding houses in Bournemouth for over a week. July 07, 1946.
