The Sudanese Women May Vote - Women - as women - have no votes in the Sudan. However, the law gives a vote for the graduates' constituency to all Sudanese persons over 21 who possess certain educational qualifications. There are only eight Sudanese women so far qualified, and here are three of them registering their votes in Omdurman for the graduates' constituency. They are Miss Thoraya Ambabi, Miss Amna Ibrahim Malek, and Miss Malthum 'Omar. All three are teachers in Omdurman. December 3, 1953. (Photo by Associated Press Photo).
