Angiogram on the right shows thrombosis (blood clotting) of the middle cerebral artery of a 65-year-old female patient due to a vascular accident. The patient presented with disorders on the right side of the body and language disorder. The angiogram on the right taken 45 minutes later after thrombolytic medication was used to remove this blood clot in the left middle cerebral artery. The scan on the right shows that blood flow has been restored.
