NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) rocket with the Orion spacecraft aboard atop the mobile launcher as it rolls out to Launch Pad 39B, at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, USA. The rollout is for Artemis I, the uncrewed test flight for NASA's Artemis program, scheduled to launch on the 29th of August 2022. The Artemis program aims to land the first woman and the next man on the Moon by 2024. It will orbit both the Earth and Moon and beyond the Moon in a three-week mission. Orion will reach a distance of 450,000 kilometres from Earth. This is longer and further than any spacecraft designed to carry humans has flown before.
