New York, USA - 12 October 2013; this bronze statue of Mercury - the Roman God of travelers - perches above the main entrance to Grand Central Station on 42nd Street. At his feet are Hercules and Minerva, together with a beautiful Lalique clock. This ensemble is named ?????摭ransportation??????and also ?????摭he Glory of Commerce.??????The statues were made from limestone, weigh 1,500 tons and were created by Jules-F???始ix Coutan in 1914.
