THREE PAINTINGS WITH GARDEN SCENES.

Iran/Persia. Qajar dynasty (1789-1925). Ink; pigments and gold leaf on paper. a) The unusual scene in the garden shows an older gentleman floating in front of a tree. A prince kneels on a throne with his finger raised to his lips and looking puzzled. At the back left standing three more gentlemen bewildered by the scene. 18x11cm. b) In a garden a lord is handed a large bowl by his son; another young man in a blue robe stands behind him. 16x11cm. c) A nobleman in an elegantly patterned overcoat stands with a pomegranate in his hand in a garden. 16x9;5cm.
