Court chair from VOC on Ambon; Arm chair from Indonesian wood. Backrest and seat covered with reed. Swayed legs; connected by a double Y-shaped cross. The armrest struts and the free-standing back posts are also hurled. The hollowed armrests end in volutes. The seat frame is profiled on the front. The top and bottom rails and the uprights of the high back window show protrusions. The top line has a crowned weapon in the middle; in which a climbing lion with sword and arrow bundle; including the year 1709 and VOC.
