Model of a Topsail; Model of a sail sail of twenty-one tarpaulins above and thirty-one below; with crotch bands; four revenues; three pop ties; bowline shoots and lap horns; reinforced with leather. The revenues consist of reef guides instead of reef seizing: the reef leaders are ropes running over the reef bands; which are stitched at the reef holes; with this rope; toggles are pulled through the rope; which are attached to the window on a rope or iron rod. Six vertical ropes; which are stitched where they cross the reef bands; serve to pick up the sail when it is being raised.
