Shrapnel Shell; Garnet cartets consisting of a wooden cylindrical body and a wooden lid with raised rim covered with tin. There are four whiskers in the lid and a hole in the middle. Inside the grenade some coal grit has been left behind and a short bit of rattan.; P.J.
