Angle meter; The object consists of the following twelve movable parts: two arms composed of three layers of metal (whereby the middle part of the right arm can be expanded again to an angle of 90 degrees); as well as a third arm which; due to the construction; always remains the bisector of the corner which the other legs make and is perpendicular to it; if these are in line with each other; two connecting parts; one end of which is riveted to one arm and the other end to the slide; which is mounted on the middle arm; five short plates (i.e.; visors) which are attached to each end of an arm with a hinge and which can be raised perpendicularly (the sixth on the middle arm is missing). On each plate; which has the circumference of a semicircle at the top with a perpendicular notch; a small round opening is provided in the middle to allow you to see through it. On the left arm the inscription: Pro declinatione muri is engraved; on the right arm the letter D and the year 1582. On the smooth underside of each arm a radius is engraved to the center of the other end from the center of the circular connecting part the numbers 1 to 10. On the middle arm; which rests in closed position on the other two arms; left and right graduations are engraved; going left from 3 to 15 and right from 10 to 90 and then repeated. A round hole is drilled in the left arm near the circular connecting part. The part of the middle arm over which the slider that is mounted and engraved as a brace can be moved has slanted sides towards the bottom; on which also scales are engraved with on the right 0 to 90 and on the left the terms vmbra recta and versa.; anonymous; West-Europa; 1582; brass (alloy); l 11.5 cm x w 21 cm x d 0.6 cm
