Strip of bobbin lace with bend and symmetrical pattern with hanging S-shaped bouquet with tulips and peony; Natural strip of bobbin lace; Binche lace. The strip makes a kink midway and broadens slightly at this point; where an almost invisible seam runs in the middle. The repeating pattern consists of a hanging S-shaped bouquet including a peony and smaller tulips and rosette flowers. The pattern with the bouquet flows into a pattern with acanthus leaves and a decorative band that runs downwards and then moves upwards again with two bows around the bouquet. Because the pattern is mirrored at the seam; the decorative band forms around the widened center piece into a kind of U-shaped cartouche. The motifs are connected to each other by a mesh ground; the borehole grate; and largely by ornamental grounds; including snow flakes and net stroke fillings with a pattern of hearts. The motifs are made in linen with openwork edges; cut-outs and thicker contour threads. The top is finished with a separately made straight strap. The underside is very bland.
