Strip of spool lace with a bow of six-leaf flowers and fan; Strip of natural spool of lace; Binche lace. The pattern consists of an alternation of two symmetrical compositions. One composition consists of a bow of five flowers with six petals; with the top flower; which sits against the top edge; cut in half. Under the arch there is a pointed oval-shaped cartouche along the lower edge. The other composition consists of a fan-shaped motif hanging down from the top edge. Below the fan there are four concatenated circles along the bottom edge that look like knots. The scalloped bottom comes from the pattern. The motifs are connected by a mesh ground; a snow ground. The motifs are made in linen with thicker and shiny contour threads. In the pointed oval-shaped cartouche and in the impeller; a coarser snow ground was used; combined in the cartouche with rosette flowers without contour threads.
