Antependium prediction cloth with a narrow linen center piece and three sides needle edge; Antependium prediction cloth with a linen fabric center piece that is finished along two long and one short side with a continuous wide edge natural colored needle lace: flat Venetian lace. The side appears to be cut off on the other short side. The symmetrical pattern consists of curved acanthus leaves and a variety of flowers. The motifs are constructed from festival stitches; with different patterns in the flowers and leaves being realized with recesses. The motifs are not entirely 'flat'; but have light relief contour lines. The outer sides of the lace are finished with a fine bow edge.
