They form the holy Trinity; which symbolizes eternity. A trumpet-blowing angel squats on both sides of the throne. The cart is preceded by the attributes of the four evangelists: the angel of Matthew; the lion of Mark; the bull of Luke and the eagle of John. They represent the New Testament. The three-wheeled cart (the holy Trinity) is pulled by two men; one of whom is largely hidden behind the angel; who holds the Gospel open with the right hand and shows the way to the people behind the cart crowds and including saints; clergy; and citizens. The second man; on the far right of the screen; pushes with his left hand against a belt that lies around his shoulders and with which he pulls the cart.
