Catherine of Alexandria; She stands with both feet on Emperor Maxentius (?); Has turned her head slightly to the right and looks; smiling vaguely; somewhat downwards. She holds up the left forearm; opposite to the right. The hair rises at the temples and falls in waves over the back and shoulders. On the head a wounded band with pearls and some rosettes. The gown pleated at the front; which is held under the left arm; falls over the lying frost; but leaves the points of her footwear and part of the undergarment free. The robe shows on both the hem and the sleeves for decorative stones. A cord on the sloping belt; under the round neckline the waffled front of the undergarment; which also reappears at the left foot; around the neck a three-part pearl necklace with a serrated edge; with a diamond-shaped pendant. The cloak hanging off the shoulders is held under the right arm. The prince is leaning forward on a ground; leaning his head with his right hand; while the left rests on the sheath of the hair on the sheath of the sword. The brief processing of the hair on the skull assumes a crown.; Meester van Koudewater; s Hertogenbosch (possibly); c. 1470; walnut (hardwood); h 92 cm
