The head is decorated with two pavilions; each with three seated Chinese in half-figure. Between these pavilions Goldchinesen with the weapons of Saxony and Poland. A gold Chinese with the monogram AR sits on a console. The presence of the monogram and the weapons suggests that the head was made for August III of Poland (1696-1763). The ear is missing.
