The wall is partly cut away in floral vines; interrupted by scalloped cartouches containing a medallion with modeled flower sprays; deer and birds. The underside of the wall with stylized ruyi motifs in low relief. On the edge a band with floral scrolls in relief. Thick foot ring; the edge is underglazed. Marked on the bottom with the four-character mark of Emperor Chenghua. A crack in the edge; missing a part from the open work.
