In Poland they call this the Zbojnicki, but it is just as tough to do in any language. The idea is to get your arms well up in the air - and take your legs after them. The Zbojnicki, or brigand dance, is being performed here by a Pole during the International Folk Dance Festival held at Manchester over the week-end. Three hundred dancers from thirteen nations attended the festival, including Germans, Italian and Swedes. October 26, 1953. (Photo by Daily Mirror).
