Paris. Ca. 1770. Case by Robert Osmond; movement by Pierre Gille l'aine.

Gilt Bronze. Enamel dial. Curved case with vase filial; decorated with ribbons; a mascaron; and fruit garlands. Roman numerals and Arabic minutes. Large rectangular pendulum mechanism with lever movement; thread suspension and half-hour chime on a bell. Height 71cm.
Edge of case inscribed Osmond; dial inscribed Gille l'aine.
Condition B. Pendulum lost (S).
