MONUMENTAL PORCELAIN STATE JUG WITH SOFT PASTE DECOR.

Porcelain; enriched in colours and gold. Over open worked foot with Rocaille decor ovoid corpus with large; opposite rocaille cartouches; partly with relief gold decor. In it splendid flower bouquets in the finest soft paste decor. The slender neck with raised; three-dimensional ribbed shell rocaille on one side. Nestled against it a young woman; accompanied by a small cupid; forming the handle of the pot. Opposite wide spout with
grape; below on the body large mascaron of a laughing pan; surrounded by further
fully plastic grapes. Height 76cm.
Condition B. One very small and professional restoration to one of the leaves near the spout.
