Shanghai; Hongkou District; Liyang Road Villas: stone plaque with inscription and Chinese flag at former site of Central Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party; The inscription reads (English translation): "Former site of Central Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (from 1927 to 1933). Until 1926 it was the site of the Central Party School. On 1st of July 1927 during the meeting the central Bureau (Politb黵o) of the Central Committee moved in." Liyang Road Villas; garden villas along both sides of Liyang Road; were built 1914 and are part of the Model Area. Model Area is a memorial place for revolutionary culture of 1920s to 1940s; writers; unionists; workers; soldiers and politicians; and heroes of the Communist Party of China. Model Area was restored; in 2004.
