With the spread of the Isis cult in Roman times; it became a symbol for Egypt. Handle and bow are connected by a rivet with a round roof-shaped head. The handle is made of very light metal; it consists of a square bar which ends in a sphere widened at the bottom with rings and beads. At the top there are three plates in capital-like arrangement. The bow is made of soft; rather reddish metal. On top sits a bird with open beak and erect tail. Pairs of holes in the hanger are filled with light-colored metal rods; which are bent over at the ends.
