Aerial photography of a lava flow on Mauna Loa, Hawaii, USA, in 1926, heading towards Hoopuloa village. The volcano's eruption caused a lava flow of 457 metres wide and 9 metres high. When it reached the village it destroyed 12 houses, a church and the harbour. Photographed on the 18th April 1926.
