In front of her, a child is playing on a stick horse. On the right, a man with glasses and a cane. In the cartouche on the right, an old man warms himself by a fireplace. Above the title the personification of time with on his head a winged hourglass and on his chest the sun and moon. In his hands the head of a baby and the head of an old man. Also included are garlands, baskets of fruit and birds. In the lower margin six verses in Dutch and French.
