Robberfly (Leptogaster cylindrica). This is a fairly common in the UK, and is also found across the Palearctic ecozone. It is distinguishable by the long thin abdomen and long legs it uses to perch on tall grasses. The robberfly feeds mainly on small insects it picks up as it flies amongst the grasses.
