Breast fibrocystic change is a general term to describe a range of common and benign (non-cancerous) breast conditions, such as adenosis, fibrosis and cyst formation, which may occur together or in isolation. The increase of fibrous tissue manifests as a lumpy, cobblestone texture in the breasts.
